The place consists of privacy, use of kayaks and safety gear, fishing rods, boat ramp, and a lovely getaway for a couple or family. Come here to enjoy the peace, and six meters of clean clear water at your camp door if you please. Fire pits are provided and we offer firewood for sale if needed, outside of fire-ban season - No firewood is to be taken from the property unless paid for. This is a unique camp experience. All we ask is you leave the place as you found it. The stars in the night sky are second to none, we hope you enjoy your stay as much as we do. IMPORTANT: We do not offer toilet facilities, so all campers MUST be self-contained, and take all waste with them. In order to protect the fragile river system, strictly no dumping of waste or greywater on the property. Waterski boats are strictly prohibited. We require at least 12 hours notice before your stay, but if you do need a last-minute spot, please feel free to send us an enquiry and we may be able to accommodate you. Whilst pets are welcome, please inform us prior to booking if you are planning to bring pets along. We have a few locals living with us, a platypus or 2 in the creek, wallabies, honey eaters, rosellas, wagtails, tiger snakes, blue tongues & even a giant hair I’ve named Harry who reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.Our goal is to regeneratively graze our cattle to sequester carbon & bring life & nutrients back to the soil, producing next level beef. Our alpacas will provide fibre for our family & for us to sell, but really they are the for the cuddles & incredible poop (for composting). Our food forest will provide for our family & the community, there will be an opportunity for people to visit & learn about what we’ve achieved along the way & takeaways from our mistakes.We anticipate 5 years to be fully functional & expect to be carbon neutral by then as well.
