Amber Ridge Estate

8 sites · RVs, Tents68 acres · Paynedale, WA
68-acre peaceful retreat nestled within State Forest, a short drive from Donnybrook. We are one of only two properties in this small, isolated pocket. We have four sites available for self-contained campers, and one site that offers bathroom facilities. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. This site has no facilities. We are only approved for self-contained campers/vans. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Shed Pad with bathroom Shed Pad is a powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed with bathroom facilities, including a flushing toilet. This site is relatively flat, perfect for a couple of tents or two medium/one large caravan. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. Please note, this site has a two-night minimum stay requirement. Base price covers two people.

Busselton Farm Studio

1 site · Lodging20 acres · Ambergate, WA
This established farming property has been in my possession for three decades. It is an easy two-hour drive south of Perth and is close to all attractions, including a jetty, golf course, breweries, and wineries. Takeaways are just minutes away from the farm door, offering you the best of both worlds. This property has been a registered B&B with the City of Busselton since 2019. We offer two separate accommodations for your stay. For groups of four guests, you will have access to a studio with a king-size bed, ensuite, and lounge area. For an additional two guests, there is a separate guest room with a king-size bed and kitchenette. The accommodations are equipped with everything you may need for a short stay, including milk, tea, coffee, and something extra for breakfast. You will have access to a full kitchen, BBQ, air conditioning, and heating. The modern kitchen includes all the necessary amenities: fridge, freezer, electric cooktop, convection microwave, hot water system, pots, frying pan, rice cooker, slow cooker, and BBQ with outdoor seating. Quality linen and towels are provided. Curtains and blinds ensure privacy, and couples with pets can enjoy a good night's sleep in the comfortable king-sized bed with an ensuite next to the kitchen. I invite you to slow down, relax, and make yourself comfortable on my farm, which is very private and quiet. It is an excellent base for exploring the Busselton/Margaret River wine region. In winter, you can enjoy a fire pit, and in summer, you can take a dip in the pool. In June and July, we have baby lambs. The pool is available during the summer months (November through April). Please inquire about the pool when booking to avoid disappointment. Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels. Please note that during the summer months, the photos on the website will not reflect green paddocks and lush greenery, as it is very dry until the rains in March/April. Take a walk around the property and enjoy the beautiful backdrop of mature eucalyptus trees that I planted over 30 years ago. The farm is home to chickens and sheep. In June, the ewes will be lambing. Please do not enter any paddock where animals are grazing. We are happy to host your pet dog. Please inform us when booking. The property is fully fenced, and the yard is large enough for your dog to play. Dogs need supervision outside the yard due to the presence of sheep. See pet rules below. If you bring your children, there is an outdoor playground and fort construction to climb, as well as trees for older children to explore. A variety of toys are available upon request. There is a fully fenced kiddie area with small bikes and safety locks on all gates. It is your responsibility to supervise your children, as there is no lifeguard on duty. Only open and close gates without BLUE string attached. Remember the farming rule: always shut gates behind you! All outdoor water taps are bore water and are on a timer, so they are not for your use. Please be mindful that all household water is rainwater and should be used sparingly. This means no long showers. Extra toilet rolls are stored in the main living/bedroom cupboard. Bottled water is provided for drinking in the studio and sunroom. Please note: Marlee Dog Kennel is 2 km south of the farm.
