We really enjoyed the stay in Brian's farm. The location is perfect and close to everything. Kids really liked interacting with animals in the farm. The amenities provides the convenience of civilisation while we were surrounded by beautiful nature. Definitely recommended!

If you’re looking to unplug and truly escape, Rose’s Reserve is the place. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by our friendly hosts who made us feel instantly at home. Their warmth set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most peaceful stays we’ve ever had.
There’s something truly magical about the atmosphere here — it’s so quiet and serene, it feels like you could be anywhere in the world. The property has every amenity you could need including a much appreciated solar-heated shower. There are a few small walking trails that are perfect for a gentle stroll, and we loved spotting all sorts of wildlife along the way.
On a clear night, the sky turns into a planetarium. No city lights, no noise, just a blanket of stars stretching in every direction. Whether you’re looking to reset or just breathe for a while, Rose’s Reserve is a gem. We’ll definitely be back.

Spacious, private (midweek camping without any others around) with neat and tidy toilets and showers. Arrival was smooth & well organised for us to get to our site without fuss. Enough space to go walkabout and enjoy birds, bandicoots, variety of plants and low light pollution starscape.

We stayed at the Harmony forest site.
The site is spacious and relatively flat. There are many trees that provide shade and protects from the wind.
Showers and toilets weren't too far and were clean.

My time at Rose's Reserve was awesome! It is a great private camping spot nestled in the midst of a grove of trees. I reckon there are a couple kms of twisty trails throughout the area around the campsite if you walk them all. The site is adjacent to a couple of paddocks and a horse farm. They exercise the horses every morning as the sun rises from the far side of the track. The site is rustic and has all you could need (BBQ, inside shower (hot water), outside shower (cold water), flushing toilet, bins for rubbish and recycling, picnic table, water hose hook up, and more). They even provide some towels and a snake bite kit! The site has lots of birds. There was a nice breeze as you walk around the bush. There is a mob of roos that are out at dusk in one of the paddocks as well. They even have a couple of nice log seats set up in the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Beautiful spot!
Liz and Ross were brilliant hosts. Liz communicates with you on the app to set up the stay and checks in while you are there. Ross meets you at the house and guides you to the site. He was super friendly and helpful!
All in all, 6 out of 5 stars I would say! Looking forward to another visit!
Note: only 2 bars max of 4G in certain spots in the bush surrounding the campsite. But who needs bars when you are enjoying the beauty of nature?!

Great little spot so close to home yet once you are there you feel tucked away in wilderness. Small area, would be great to go with another family or friend and you can almost have the place to yourselves. Convenient with amenities so you can do your dishes the easy way, shower , toilet etc. Brian was a great host and made us feel very welcome.

We recently stayed at Rose's Reserve with our caravan and two dogs, and it was an unforgettable experience. The absolute highlight of this stay is the complete privacy—this is a sole-use campsite, meaning you have the entire place to yourself. If you're looking for a secluded retreat away from crowds, this is it.
The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, greeting us on arrival and giving us a friendly tour of the site, ensuring we had everything we needed. After that, they left us to enjoy the space in total privacy—the perfect balance of hospitality and seclusion.
Set on 20 acres of nature conservation land within a working farm, the reserve is surrounded by stunning bushland, with well-kept walking trails where we enjoyed peaceful strolls among native flora and abundant birdlife. Our dogs absolutely loved the space to explore, and it was a relief to stay somewhere that genuinely welcomes pets.
Facilities are simple but well-maintained, with the bonus of a flushing toilet and a shower, which added to the comfort of our stay.
This is a truly unique private getaway—no neighbors, no noise, just pure relaxation. Highly recommend for anyone seeking seclusion, nature, and a warm welcome. We'll definitely be returning!

Great communication with Liz prior to arriving, was warmly greeted on arrival and shown to the site which had a flat (mostly) grassy area with a near by hut with lean too equipped with a table and gas bbq with bottle. Having a toilet area with indoor hot shower and outdoor shower was a great plus for this site. We spent two nights here with our dog and was a lovely experience.
We enjoyed the walking trails on the property and its proximity to the beach for a day trip of 4wd’ing. We look forward to staying here again.

Gorgeous and spacious camp. We were with a group of 3 families and our site was perfect. Lovely flat area under the trees with lots of room. The showers and toilets were always clean. Our kids loved exploring and discovering all the hidden gems around the property.

We (5 adults, 2 kids) stayed at Hampny Retreat for 3 nights and never had to leave the property to have an absolutely brilliant time.
We had the dam site which was perfect for a hot weekend - I was in there 3-4 times a day! It was lovely and refreshing and super convenient to be right next to.
The outdoor heated showers are welcomed after a long day of doing nothing but swim in the dam. On the way to the showers, we enjoyed saying hello to Wally and Molly and sneaking over to give Peppa Pig a little veggie snack.
The sites are so private that we didn’t even really see any of the other groups camping there. There was lots of shade at the dam site which helped keep us cool during the hot days.
I would 100% recommend this camp. So easy and close to Perth to sneak away to for a long weekend.

Great space to camp, easy to get to on a weekend after work. Campsites are well spaced out, toilets and showers super clean. We stayed in the Paddock site, which copped full force of easterly winds, obviously no fault of the hosts- but when we return, we'll choose the cosy Forrest sites. Easy drive into Dwellingup or Pinjarra if looking for something to do, but also great to sling a hammock in the tree and enjoy the amazing star show

We loved our camp out at Rose's Reserve. It was so peaceful with lots of afternoon shade which was great as it was quite hot. The provided "rustic" facilities were an additional bonus. The hosts were superb. Would I recommend a stay here? .... Absolutely.

We loved being welcomed by Brian and felt privileged to have been able to stay on his property! We stayed in a swag and left the canvas open to enjoy waking up with the sun and birds singing and had the gorgeous bonus of seeing the sheep had brought their sweet lambs over to say good morning 🥰
I wasn't actually expecting the container decked out with a lounge and kitchen to enjoy making and eating our breakfast with ease and comfort - and wash up conveniently!!
The amenities were clean, Brian was patient and kind with excellent communication and showed us everything we needed to know, including introductions to the animals! We would definitely stay again! Thank you Brian!
