Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Private 36 acres of woods with hilly terrain, great for families with dogs. ORV trails are accessible literally across the street. Houghton and Higgins lakes are less than 30 minute drive with several smaller all season lakes accessible in less than 10. There is no power, bathroom or water facilities available on site, but only a few minutes from Downtown Harrison. You will be greeted by an open clearing after a short trek into the property along the managed trail off of North Harrison Ave. We suggest to camp here, but you are welcome to explore the rest of the property. The property line is marked by reflective tags placed every 40-50 ft on the trees. The property itself is secluded and neighbored by mostly deer camp sites. A Leota Trail entry is right across the street from the Frost Township Cemetery right next to our property. Please leave the area like you found it for future campers to enjoy.
