Just 12km west of Sarina, Blue Tree Campground is a nature lover’s dream, set alongside a freshwater creek—perfect for a refreshing swim from around December to August'ish! Wake up to birdsong, spot the dazzling Ulysses butterflies, and watch wallabies grazing nearby. Each campsite has its own fire pit for starlit gatherings, plus a central fire pit for social get-togethers. We're mostly off-grid (with just the occasional bar of phone service), so bring your downloads or enjoy the best kind of viewing—The Bush TV (aka campfire). Camp Kitchen with running water and BBQ available to cook, relax or socialise in. [PLEASE NOTE: due to local council rules - only fully self contained vehicles are permitted at the present moment.] Blue Tree is home to the magnificent Ulysses butterfly and many of our visitors come to this pretty spot to see their iridescent blue wings in flight. There's plenty of birdlife and wallabies/kangaroos abound. Explore the shady, tree-lined creek and enjoy crystal clear star gazing at night as you sit around the fireplace. Beautiful Bush Lemon trees abundant at certain times of the year, please help yourself. Mobile phone service can be sketchy, but we are primarily off-grid. The creek is beautiful to swim in… from about December to July’ish. There are walking tracks to discover and surprises along the way, a swing and lots of fun things for the kids. 🤩🦋🤩

    What a lovely little spot. Great little swim hole for the grandkids to swim or a deeper hole further up. Clean, tidy and well maintained. Horses and cattle visit a couple of times a day and the stunning blue butterflies are gorgeous. We are always looking for different places to go in our own backyard and will definitely go back here. Just so relaxing. Great job Carolyn and Rob

    We were very happy with our camping trip to Bluetree campground. Nice and quiet, the camping area is clean. There's a toilet there. The camp kitchen looks great. Plenty of room to park in. Had visitors, cows and horses. Even a couple of wallabies dropped in the morning. Have recommended the place to others. Even got a light show, no charge.

    I'd deffently stay again

    Was the perfect camp. Nice clear creek to swim well presented camps and well maintained. The camp kitchen was a bonus and large enough to entertain. Enjoyed the nature and the farm animals. I was concerned about the solar cable getting trampled by cattle but seemed OK. The water is slow in the camp kitchen. There is a fast flow tap behind the camp. But was a really great experience lovely views and fantastic hosts. Really accommodated us weel thank you. 🙂

    Carolyn was very accommodating with a request I made. We will definitely stay there again, hopefully when it is just after heaps of rain for the beautiful creek. Location was easy to access. There was 3 other sites taken but we still had lots of room and privacy. We didn't need it but the toilet and camp kitchen is great. No phone reception but we went about 2km up road to check phones. We will be telling all our camping group. Thank you Carolyn and Rob for sharing your property.
