The site we stayed at had a lot of debris around from an old hut. The owners are aware and informed us of this. The site is a work in progress. This site had a toilet, and this is why we opted for it. Next time I would opt for one of the spots further up the hill. These other sites are better, level ground with beautiful views of the surrounding area. The tracks are great for a bit of 4x4 driving. Beautiful sunsets and peaceful surroundings. The owners were kind enough to allow a friend of ours to visit for a couple of hours.

WOW! Views forever !
Book this place if:
-you don’t want to setup tents
-you like shower/toilet facilities
-you like not having to bring the kitchen sink
- you love listening to the crickets and enjoying the stunning view without interruptions.
It’s not a palace but it’s comfortable and peaceful!
Plus it’s fully self sufficient with solar panels providing lighting and hot water. Francine is a brilliant host and gave us a ride up the mountain on her quad.

Site 4 - Echoes in the Valley Camp 1
The scenery surrounding the campsite is picturesque, overlooking the surrounding valley. The site itself left a lot to be desired however. First of all the site still says shower is available, however there is none. There is no potable water to or available at the site and the toilet is a step below your standard drop toilet found in your run of the mill Qld parks campsite. Given the cost per person, it's not unreasonable to expect such amenities. Lovely spot if only the amenities were as advertised. As it stands I wouldn't recommend unless you are actually fully self contained.

Site 5 - Cosy Corner Camp 2
Private camp-site with many around the property having beautiful views. Definitely need a 4WD to access the more picturesque spots.

Stunning views across the valleys south of Gatton, and very private and isolated site. Exposed, so any winds are a challenge, and certainly not for any vehicle but a high clearance 4WD. The property itself isn’t pristine remnant vegetation, of course, but you’ll be looking far rather than close, so it doesn’t matter.
