Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Located just 20 minutes to both Maleny and Kenilworth, ‘Peace on Palamino’ offers the ultimate lifestyle escape on the banks of the Mary River. Enjoy one of the many hikes in the local area before returning to camp for a swim with your own private river access. The corner store and petrol station are a short stroll from home for any last minute essentials, however on your own 3 acres you can embrace the natural splendour of this escape. Kayaks are included in your stay, as well as a ping pong table. A shared toilet, PowerPoints (for device charging), and mini fridge are available inside. Firewood can be collected on the property, or purchased locally. No drinking water and no shower facilities, but you may use the tap and hose to rinse off (or enjoy an open-air shower if you aren’t too bashful!) For non-campers in the group, the upstairs of the house (including shower, kitchen, beds, lounge area) is also available for booking. Please enquire with the host for rates and availability. Please contact before booking if you are planning on bringing pets.Site 1 is the one and only site on the property. You will have full exclusive access to the property’s 3 acres, so take your pick on a spot to set up. Bring the clubs and balls and practice some chipping followed by a dip to cool down in the Mary river. This site overlooks the river and is a short stroll down the river flats to the waters edge. - currently the orchard site overlooking the river is closed for vehicle access, but you are welcome to set up on our paddock sites and walk down.

Staying at this campsite was by far our best camping experience! The location was perfect, offering the river, lush grass, a farm, and plenty of shade from the trees all in one place. As a large group, we had great privacy, allowing us to have fun without disturbing others. The bathroom was clean, and some of us enjoyed playing on the ping pong table. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice setting overlooking the Mary River. Lots of space. You are camping in someone’s back yard but it does feel reasonably private.

30th celebrations done right!

We stayed at this site from Friday - Sunday and had the best time celebrating my birthday! I would highly recommend using this site. The water was so needed when the weather was humid and hot just to cool off. Utilised the kayaks which were so much fun! We set up decks and played some music having a little mini doof - Lachie was so nice and accomodating! A lil tip - Bring ear plugs for the birds, very chatty! But overall had the best time :) go go go! Thanks heaps Lachie!
