The most underrated and underpriced campground we have ever stayed at. Shelley and Micheal go above and beyond to maintain and run an incredible property. Cannot fault anything. Offers everything. Playground is epic, slip n slide epic, amenities epic, animal feeding epic.

The camp grounds at River Run were very peaceful with spacious camp sites all round. Nice little park area for kids next to the camp kitchen. The camp kitchen was well set up and there was plenty of room to sit in shade to enjoy our meals when needed. Handy boat ramp at the camp made launching our kayaks a breeze onto the Mary River. Approximately 25 minutes drive to get to Maryborough for shopping and to see the tourist attractions, however, do check whether the attractions are operating before going.

Camping in the surrounds of nature.

We camped at the powered sites - wonderful, not cramped in - plenty of room. Camp kitchen and amenities - added bonus. Took our canoe and rowed down and up the river each morning. Have shared photos and told friends. A delight.
