Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction campsite, to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with off-road tyres. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (weight and length restrictions apply) however caravans are not suitable due to the steep terrain. A portaloo is within walking distance to some campsites, otherwise your camp MUST be self-contained. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. .For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Best views you can get!
Best views you can get! Breathtaking sunrise and sunsets! Flat grass area and large fire pit! Road was steep but very easy with low range, would get difficult with rain, Only downfall was their dog that jumped out of a ute charged my partner when she got out to open the gate

Valley view
Spent two nights here. Like the other reviews say, the sites were very well maintained, spacious (in particular valley view) felt secluded and the views were awesome. The drive to and from the site was fun, steep but easily done. Definately will stay again.

Absolutely stunning!
Our 2nd time at Riverdell and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. We love this place so much!! Stunning views, beautiful camp sites… Couldn’t recommend it more. We’ll definitely be making another trip soon!

Maleny - The Junction
Simply great
Excellent multiple separated camp sites and so well organised people. Just a pleasure to be there on great countryside. Camped the junction which is such a lovely private spot right down in the valley with running streams either side. Dog friendly too😃 Will camp there again.
