This is an environmental project which is endeavouring to create a green corridor from Augusta to the Nullarbor to allow the fauna to travel freely when migrating. Featuring 400 archers of revegetated bushland and a 100 archers of remnant bush along a winter creek. It's a great place for bird watchers. We have wild flowers all year round but the spring months bring an abundance of Orchids and wild flowers. Bush lovers will be inspired with plenty of wildlife about. You can have a camp fire in winter although you will need to bring some firewood, there's plenty of kindling, or you can purchase a bundle from us if you wish. The campsites are level and grassy and suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. We are about an hour drive north of Albany and 300 kilometres south of Perth. The property is pretty close to the Stirling Range National Park, Porongurup National park, Frankland wine district and lake Poorrarecup. Wongin Mia makes an excellent base for exploring this picturesque area. Birdlife is plentiful including parrots, wedge tail eagles, red breasted wrens, Carnaby's and Boudin's, Night jars, Willy wagtails, Barking owls and Welcome swallows. And of course there's plenty of kangaroos and wallabies. This is a unique property where you will experience a true bush environment with seclusion and tranquillity. There are many places to walk or ride and explore. We feel honoured to be able to share this beautiful peace of paradise. Your dog is very welcome to camp with you.

    Karri Getaway

    **Please Note - Due to flooding damage last winter we lost our water supply to the bush baths and showers so they are unavailable until further notice. Please message us if unsure. Thank you for your patience.** This property has 70 acres of lush Karri forest with the original old logging trails from approximately 100 years ago, which make for beautiful nature walks. The track through the forest, for the main campsite is about 3.5m wide and and can get a little slippery so caution is needed but can be done in small and large vehicles (probably not big RV). There is open air bath and shower which is heated from an old brae-mar hot water system. There is one transportable long drop toilet near the site and a fire pit for cooking and sitting around but other from that you have to be self sufficient. There is access to drinking water.. If the campsite is unavailable or you don't won't to drive through the forest, you are welcome to set up camp on the green pasture on the hill with great views but there are NO amenities there and you would have to be completely self-contained. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Greens pool and Elephant Rocks beach, and about 15 minutes' drive to the town of Denmark, WA. Pets on leashes are welcome. It is also a lovely spot to just relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Leave no trace - there is no facilities here, guests will need to be self sufficient and bring their own camping toilet. Please note we allow pets but the must be restrained as we do have working dogs on the farm - Happy for your dog/cat/budgie to enjoy our beautiful farm freely as long as they are happy with our four dogs.     Stunning Rockcliffe Vineyard

    The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rockcliffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will either be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. If all are full you can park your van either on the paddock across the road or at the rear of the carpark (below the gravelled bays). It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We offer Cheese & Meat Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 1-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays.

    Our Land is 70 acres of mostly native bush with large Karri trees surrounding the beautiful views of the Irwin Inlet. The area cleared is where the original Benson Family lived. The house was burnt down and they then left. We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating. The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips. We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark. All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet. As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a contained drum unless there is a total fire ban. We would let you know if this was the case. We have fire pits to hire for $15

    Enjoy our beautiful and peaceful camp grounds, situated along side the Five Mile Brook, one of the tributaries to Pemberton's main water supply, Big Brook Dam. A magnificent towering backdrop of Karri Forest can be seen across the water. Wildlife in abundance, both on and off the water and can be observed at various times of day. Pop into our Iconic mud-brick cellar door and enjoy a complimentary (guest only) tasting paddle of our exclusive organic wines/ciders and fortifieds. Visit our mezzanine Gallery, hosting local artists and enjoy the view across the vineyard into State Forest from our balcony. All campsites are leveled and drive through, we accept RV's, caravans, rooftops, camper trailers. But all must be 100% self sufficient. Dogs are welcome but must stay on a lead at ALL times as it is a working farm winery/vineyard. Kangaroos and other wildlife are resident to this area and will pass through on occasion. You must bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient including your own water. We are Nature Base with a Leave No Trace Policy, we ask that you please take all your waste with you. Strictly No Pre Booking tours of the campsites allowed, a good description and photos are online. All campers are to be booked in prior to arriving at the farm. No entry for extra campers on day of arrival if not booked in as they will not be permitted to enter the property. Strictly no day visitors allowed. Campfires permitted when local government restrictions aren't in place.
