Do not stay here. The host never replied to my messages and never showed to let me in to my stay.

Okay to visit, but not sleep🤷🏻‍♀️
19 ft campervan · With kids
We have mixed feelings about this Hipcamp, we had a very hard time finding it (met many of the “neighbors” looking for it—who had no idea there was a camping spot), but our kids really enjoyed playing and swimming in the creek—they are young kids so new experiences are always fun. Our misgivings are with location; hard to figure out where it is and no actual direction in finding with the address given and the host didn’t respond at all—we found it by sheer desperation because we had 4 tired kids and figured it out. Another problem was the proximity to the road, it’s a major/frequented throughway so there wasn’t any peaceful sleep had—if you’re a heavy sleeper or don’t mind having lots of drinks before bed it isn’t easy to sleep there. Lastly, the picnic table wasn’t there, which isn’t a huge deal, but we end up eating in our tent. The area was pretty and the creek was fun, but not sure it works for us as an overnight.

Having used Hipcamp for over two years with 24 stays in 10 states I have to say this was the most frustrated I have been with a host. The directions to the camp were abysmal at best with no address or signage at the site. The host was unresponsive to my request for additional information as I waited for close to two hours to hear from him. Additionally the camp was 100 feet from a busy highway and, in my opinion, overpriced.
