This campsite exudes a charming tranquility, with its beautiful creekside spots and a welcoming atmosphere that many guests have praised. Chris and Seth, the hosts, are noted for their warm hospitality, ensuring guests feel safe and well-cared for, even accommodating late arrivals. The natural surroundings, including mountain views and a serene creek, create a peaceful retreat perfect for relaxation. While some guests noted minor issues with finding spots at night or the DIY nature of some facilities, the overall experience is highly positive, with many eager to return.

Vintage hippie Asheville. Should be a historic landmark of the pre-gentrification era. Hardscrabble farmstead, warm and welcoming. Not the spot for someone wanting a KOA experience, but just great if you’re looking for something authentic.

The campsite has a pretty view of the farm field and a foothill in the distance. The drive into camp though almost had me turning around and going somewhere else. It's a steeep dirt road with tight bends, not a problem in itself, but it cuts through a community of dilapidated trailers and campers with a lot of building debris and other refuse strewn about. The host was polite and helpful, but the setting felt really rough and falling-apart.

I appreciate Chris allowing me to stay on his farm. Chris showed me to the campsite and the location of the kitchen and bath house as soon as I arrived. The directions to get to the property are straightforward. The neighboring campers were kind and kept to themselves. I highly recommend.

Loved our stay at Jake’s farm!
My friends and I loved tent camping at Jake’s farm. The people were fun to talk to and the amenities were very nice. Our campsite was beautiful, surrounded by a small creek and facing a mountain in the distance. I would definitely love to come back here! Also, we are three young women and we never felt unsafe, so that was awesome :)

Jake’s Farm was a nice and quiet stay. I did leave one night early due to the drop in temperatures. They were gracious and waited up to meet for my after dark arrival to guide me to my campsite. They supplied wood to the campsite and a way to start the fire. It is close to multiple locations for hiking, mountain biking and Ashviille. My 2 dogs had a blast. I would recommend them for your camping experience .

Loved it!
We loved Jake's Farm! The treehouse was so neat and cozy! Chris was quick to respond to questions as well. Jake's Farm was the perfect distance from Asheville and made it very easy to go into town. Overall, great experience, and would highly recommend it!
