Larapinta offers a unique camping experience with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a popular choice for many campers. The site is praised for its scenic beauty, privacy, and the presence of friendly wildlife like cows and kangaroos. However, some campers noted that certain sites are less private due to their proximity to access roads. The need for a capable 4WD vehicle is frequently mentioned, highlighting the adventurous journey to reach the campsites.
This was a great spot, with amazing views which made for a really relaxing 3 days. Other campsites are spread out across the property so you don’t feel too close to anyone else. We also enjoyed the fun little 4wd track up to the lookout, which had great views over the area as well.
This is a cracking site. Facilities around and the Cameron has always been so accommodating. Support these guys. I have been there now 3 times and first with 2 families. They even put on a Easter hunt for the kids Sunday morning
What a beautiful long weekend! Such a great spot, definitely need a good 4WD to get up there but so worth it. We absolutely loved it and will be coming back :)
This would have to be one of the best Hip Camps ive stayed at, Beautiful views, great privacy, as the nearest campers are at least 500 meters away from you, What would top it off would be to have a port aloo on each site, as its a bit of a walk to the closest one, or don't advertise the site with a loo
But a prefect spot to getaway from it all
Fantastic spot with amazing views. The best experience having a bath in nature, highly recommended. The place has few hikes within the property and going for a visit to the horses and cows was great!
Cameron was very friendly and attentive.
We will definitely come back :)
