Cabine in the woods

The cabin is located in a remote area of Bear Swamp State Forest. It is about 5 miles from the nearest paved road but has seasonal roads that take you to the cabin. There are many close attractions like Skaneateles Lake and Carpenters Falls. The Cabine doesn’t have electricity or water but we do have a generator. We do not have a shower or bathroom But we have a outhouse. We do ask people to bring their own gas if you want to run the generator and woods to make a fire.

Our family has been farming this land since the depression era when our ancestors moved east from California during a drought and were enamoured with our green rolling hills and abundant water resources. Through good times and bad, our dairy cows have been the backbone of the farm, grazing on the mostly hillside pastures.
