We loved camping at this peaceful site. The view of the 5 acre lake was wonderful. I was delighted by all the extra at the site like chairs around the stone fire pit, wood, fishing rods, dog tie out, garbage can and more. The porta potty was better than most. I loved the extra touch of the hanging lights and solar lanterns around the sight. The flock of geese that followed us as we walked our dogs around the lake were a bonus treat. The host Faoth was quick to answer any questions. Definitely a top stay on our list.

My son and I went on an impromptu overnight trip and I couldn't be happier with Yvonne's property. Paradise by the pond is maintained impeccably, and Yvonne's customer service is top notch!! Would definitely recommend and i hope to be able to stay here again soon!

While our site was up against the garage and not a traditional scenic campsite that we are used to, the location was excellent and worked well for our stay. Their property is peaceful, and we appreciated the convenience of being close to everything we wanted to explore. It was a great spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the surroundings. We van camped at Bill’s place on a rainy New Year’s Eve and had a lovely time. The property is beautiful and quiet, and Bill was a great host - came out to meet us and show us where everything was. I’m happy to know about this place!

Bill and Nancy were the best hosts! We camped at their property for 2 nights in late December 2025. Bill communicated clearly from the get go and made sure we had all the info we need to find the property and have a comfortable experience. He took extra steps to ensure that we could use their outdoor flushable toilet even during the winter. Bill made sure to check in on us and ensure that we were setup right and comfortable for the winter camping experience. He also provided us with plenty of firewood to make sure that we were warm and comfortable for the whole stay. Thanks to Bill and Nancy’s hospitality, we had an awesome first winter camping trip. We highly recommended this place and look forward to coming back in the future!

Weekend Trip to Organic Farm in the Pocono Mts.

My girlfriend, some friends and I spent the weekend at Eric’s farm and it was amazing!!! The bathroom and showers felt so clean and the view from our car camping site was gorgeous! He was quick to message me back if i needed anything during my stay as well. The goats, cats and dog were a huge plus and made our stay so much nicer. This is by far the best campsite i have been to!!

This is our 4th trip and most crowded. There wad a group of 10 people tent camping just 100 yards up the hill from us and another RV over by the main house but it was so spread out that we just did things like we did the last 3 times. I.E. played frisbee with the dog lol

1 night at Maple Grove Farms

Quiet little spot next to a large pond. A couple cows stop by to visit in a pasture that’s also nearby. Plenty of outdoor furniture and firewood. Pets are allowed with more than enough space for them to exercise. We have a 30’ bumper pull camper and my tow vehicle is a crew cab long bed truck so total length of about 45’ this campsite can be a little tricky to back into as you need to blind side back in to avoid driving on the lawn. But once in place you’ll enjoy it. There’s no electrical or water however there is a portable potty nearby.

Awesome property! My doggies loved it! Bill and his brother were very welcoming and informative. Their family land is beautiful and if you plan to have a fire, be sure to get the firewood onsite from them. They have plenty. Great stay! We will be back! Thanks Bill and Nancy! Property was absolutely gorgeous! The site is nestled in the corner of the property and very private. There is a very nice fire ring and an abundance of wood to burn. Faith was extremely responsive and very helpful and nice! We got a couple visits from the cows during our stay! There were no events at the track so it was very peaceful. The pond is serene and nice to walk around. 100% would recommend this site!

Also, feel free to join us in the fields, request a tour, pet a goat, smell a pig, and check out our DIY home renovation, (built with hempcrete). Learn more about this land: Our property is located near the tiny village of Glen Hazel, our unique area offers close proximity to many watersports and hiking opportunities. Visitors can watch bald eagles and osprey as you enjoy kayaking, fishing and nature at this primitive campsite. We have just one site. Our campsite is very private and includes a fire ring, a picnic table a trash can and a swing. Parking is available right at the site. It's just a 2 minute walk to the northernmost kayak launch on the East Branch of the Clarion River. Here you will find a public porta potty for use during the summer only. Several small jack dams will make your kayak experience a delight. We have a private 1 acre pond just a stones throw from the campsite that visitors can enjoy. Fishing is permitted in the pond, no license needed. Fly fishermen will enjoy the thrill of catching native and stocked trout in the most beautiful section on the East Branch of the Clarion River (PA fishing license and trout stamp required). Nearby is Bendigo State Park that offers free use of picnic areas and swimming in an immaculately kept pool. Just 1 1/2 miles away is the Dam Inn where you can stop for a beer or for a nice dinner on the deck. Adjacent to the campsite is State Gamelands #25. This enormous tract of public land is open to all for hiking, biking and fishing the pristine native trout streams, including Middle Fork, Crooked Creek and several others. Only a 3 mile drive will land you at the East Branch Lake, a seven mile long lake where you can put your boat in and fish, kayak or water ski to your hearts content.

Sarah and Stein * Camp Blackbird is a 28 acre property that runs along Beltzville State Park in Carbon County, PA. So besides the camp, there is an additional 3,002-acres of state park to explore. There are a total of 2 sites. The land was vacant for decades and unfortunately used to dump household garbage during that time. We cleaned up the land, built a home and bat habitat. We, Sarah and Stein, always disliked renting a camp site somewhere and then ending up on top of people. So it was our goal to make space on our land for campers like us that want to be surrounded by nature, not other camp sites. A portion of the proceeds from your stay will be donated to bat habitat conservation and bat sanctuaries around the world. We are grateful for the hundreds of campers that have stayed with us. Thank you to all of you that have left a clean site and not made unnecessary noise that would disturb the countless species that share the forest with us. Also, Thank You for patronizing local businesses while you are here. We'll give you a map so you can see where to take a short walk to get to the lake. There are miles of hiking trails a few minutes walk from your campsite. Beltzville Lake is a great place for paddling. The boat launch is just a few minutes drive from Camp. In addition to the beautiful immediate surroundings, we are centrally located near many exciting destinations. Year round activities at Blue Mountain Resort, adventure on The Appalachian Trail, fine dining, biking the rail trail and whitewater rafting in Jim Thorpe, all within a 25 minute drive. The property is not suitable for parties or events. The area is a QUIET ZONE. Ideal for people looking to unplug from it all and become one with nature. It is teaming with wildlife and is ideal for birding. The hosts mission is to disturb wildlife and its habitats as little as possible. VERY IMPORTANT - NO PARTIES or unregistered guests on the property. There are other campgrounds in the area that are great for people who want to party. We welcome pets. Please add your photos! Especially of your dog camping! Check out the 300+ photos past campers have added. So many of them are dogs camping it up. We, the hosts, live on the property about 700 ft from the campsite. We try to have minimal interactions with the guests to ensure privacy and personal space but we're always reachable.
