2 nights at Peaceful Hollow Farm

I really enjoyed staying at this campsite. Darla was very attentive, and was available every time I needed a ride down the hill to my car. There’s a great hiking trail that takes you up to the base of a mountain, with a great view. Nighttime vibes were awesome. Definitely recommend.

This was our second time staying on Grants beautiful property in the mountains of Tracy city! It seems to get better every time we visit. We brought our 8 month old son, Arlo, and it was his very first camping trip!! Grant and his wife are such genuine and kind people, they truly go out of their way to make your experience special and memorable. The property could be a state park itself, we spent several hours exploring the mountainside and admiring Miller Falls. Our campsite was huge, clean, and perfectly situated to view the sunset. This won’t be our last time camping on Grants property, and we so look forward to returning!

1 night at Farm @ Chickamauga Battlefield

We absolutely loved our stay at the yurt! Even the rainy weather added to the experience—it made everything feel extra peaceful. The wood-burning stove kept us warm and cozy, and waking up to misty fields all around us felt magical. It was quiet, private, and had such a special, intimate vibe. The outdoor bathroom setup is amazing too—way better and closer than what we’ve seen at other spots. This was the perfect way to ease from winter into spring. Huge thanks to Emily and Taylor for creating such a dreamy little escape!

Our stay was short, but our experience was great! We stayed in the Beech Treehouse where we were very cozy sleeping through a thunderstorm. The waterfall sang to us all night and was a spectacular sight in the morning. Around the treehouse grounds we enjoyed seeing toads, turtles, squirrels and birds, birds, birds. The treehouse itself is well appointed and the hospitality of hosts Grant and Becky made our little overnight a joy.

We stayed at the Outdoor Kitchen + Yurtle with a group and had a wonderful time. The waterfall is a short walk to feel like you’re in another world! We will definitely be back and hope to try out Grant’s other creative structures.

Randy has a wonderful hidden gem here! We camped in one of his dry camps at the edge of a gorgeous, large pond. The quiet was complete other than the pond frogs at twilight, birds, a pair of geese that came in for the night at dusk. Very clean campground. Plenty of firewood on site. There are several different areas to camp, depending on what you’re looking for at Robert’s place. There was a woodsy area, platforms for yurts and an area by a stream. Porta potty and potable water were provided. Robert was very knowledgeable about the area, its history and trails to hike. Nice stay!

Most of the roads are accessible in any small car, but some roads require 4x4 (they're marked with a sign). We have a bath house with toilets, showers, and sinks and even offer hot water! Our well and cabins are all solar powered as we are not on the electric grid. Some info about the property: -we DO NOT have water or power hookups -we have gravel roads with a 5 MPH speed limit on the property (if you drive too fast the roads will seem rough) -we are right next to a highway and train tracks so there will be some noise (some days are better than others and we have no way of predicting how many trains will/will not go by) -none of our campsites have picnic tables (please plan accordingly) -most campsites have fire rings built, but if you choose a site without one you need to build your own

The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Please respect farm rules and do not camp in a pasture with cattle and do not enter any gated area without speaking to someone on the farm who knows which fields the cattle is in. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area, in between the orange and green tiny home, and outside the outdoor shower. Fire rings and chopped wood are ready for you to borrow and return by the outdoor shower area. Our outdoor shower is located by the yurts. If you are interested in a more posh experience, we have yurts and tiny homes for rent. We have a pool that is available to rent privately during your stay. You can use the Swimply app to book your time or you can message us through HipCamp, and we can set that up for you.
