There are some great breweries in town and wine tasting opportunities if beer isn't for you. Visit Lake Wenatchee State Park which is approximately 5 miles from Bear Acres. The lake is surrounded by mountains and is an excellent place for fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking. Explore Icicle Creek, which is not only a beautiful area to explore but offers a range of trailheads to various hiking trails. If you're really feeling adventurous, try hiking the popular and beautiful Enchantments. Whitewater rafting on the Wenatchee River is one of the most popular things to do in Leavenworth.
