Private sites

Wifi, hotspots, and great mobile service are some of the things you won't find at this camp site. If you want to find a peaceful place in the woods to disconnect and relax for a few days come check out the Creekside Camp, a private fully off-grid site just off of HWY 12. Stay in one of our canvas bell tents with 360* views of evergreen covered hillsides, or set up your own tent in our Cedar Circle, and take a dip in our year round creek. There are several good soaking locations - provided you don't mind the crisp, cool water - as well as many shallow spots to splash and play in. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided at each bell tent site, and a communal picnic area is available near the creek. You will have everything you need to relax and settle in close to nature. We are located between Morton and Packwood, about an hour east of I-5 and an hour west of White Pass. There is endless hiking, fishing, and exploring to do in the area.

Great hosts and the tent weathered a thunderstorm well. Loved the creek and making a fire. Thank you.

Tony and Danielle are really excellent hosts. They communicated promptly, were very welcoming on arrival, and were available if needed. We stayed at their Bell Tent site, which has some really nice views. The Bell Tent itself is great, the solar lights are a nice touch, and there’s plenty of extra room to pitch a couple of extra tents, if needed. The site has 2 picnic tables, a fire ring and seating. Overall, it’s a nicely secluded and private spot well away from the road and backs onto trees that lead to a shady creek. Will definitely be back! Can’t recommend enough!

Bird watchers paradise!
This camp spot is amazing! Secluded and has great creek access. The host was very nice and after we greeted we were left alone to enjoy our trip. The bell tent was awesome! We saw so many hawks and some great blue herons. The scenery is fantastic! Lots of room to spread out. The campsite gets full sun most of the day, but there are plenty of shady spots by the creek to hang out. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing Spot
This hip camp is one of the best I’ve experienced. The host greeted us upon arrival, gave a rundown of the property, and left us in privacy to enjoy the experience. The camp is close to town for supplies but far enough from the highway that you experience nature with little to no traffic noise. The creek is beautiful and full of agates and rainbow trout. We also saw plenty of wildlife and enjoyed hiking around. The bell tent is spacious and has a surprisingly comfortable queen-sized futon. 10/10 would camp here again!

Beautiful Property
A very scenic and peaceful hip camp. The host greeted us upon arrival, gave a quick run down of the facilities and left us in privacy to enjoy the property. We saw blue herons, hawks, rabbits, and a lot of other wildlife. The creek, while a bit chilly, was beautifully clear and very fun to hike. Full of agates and tons of rainbow trout! I highly recommend this site. It is close to the small town of Morton if you need to re-up on supplies. The campsite is far enough away from the highway that there is little traffic noise, if any. Bell tent was very spacious and had a surprisingly comfy queen sized futon. 10/10 would camp here again.

Surrounded by Nature
Tent ·
This campsite is excellent! Peaceful, surrounded by nature, next to a stream, just about perfect. The only opportunity for improvement would be a bit more formal composting toilet, the one there is pretty rinky dink. But since we were only there for one night it didn’t bother us. Definitely would highly recommend this site!!!
