Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Pacific Beach State Park adventure.
Discover the serene beauty of Pacific Beach State Park.
At just ten acres, Pacific Beach State Park is as big as some people’s yards. But you know what that means? Those ten acres must be damn special to be designated as a state park. And they are. The sandy beaches here are among the best in the state. It’s a perfect place to do all the stereotypical beach activities like flying kites, building sand castles and combing the beach for shells and other washed up wonders. Located along the coast just southwest of Olympic National Park, the views that will greet you upon a visit to Pacific Beach alone will make the trip worth it. Camping is available year round, but it’s also just a nice place to picnic for the day. A day might be all you need to see the whole of this state park, but we won’t blame you for wanting to stay longer.
The park is open year-round from 8am to dusk, offering a different experience with each season. Summer brings warm, sunny days ideal for beach activities, while winter offers a peaceful, stark beauty. Be mindful of the burn bans and beach closures that can affect your visit.
