We bought the property in search of gold. After exploring the land after we bought it, we discovered a 200ft ship from 1906 buried 4ft under the ground. We are inviting people to come enjoy this experience with us as we excavate the ship, to learn history, and to learn unique outdoor activities. There are so many treasures still left to be found.
We had a blast at NC TreasureHunters! Ross was so hospitable and full knowledge of the area. We enjoyed panning for gold and finding fossils and shark’s teeth.
My dog and I stayed in the cabin and it was perfect. Simple and just as pictured. The family is very friendly and knowledgeable of the land’s history. Had plenty of fire wood and got to enjoy a much needed night away.
