This place was perfect for my buddy and I to try out our new camping gear. The entire experience felt like we were living in a movie. From seeing the bever hut and horse to all the other natural wildlife and plants. Very secluded and peaceful. The weather was amazing and the owner is very helpful.
We had a great couple of days at 5D Ranch. Julie was very responsive and flexible with our changing plans, suggesting camp sites which would suit our needs. There was lots of privacy and the kids loved the lake and paddle boats. I’d certainly return in the future.
Love the entire area. Site 19 is safe and has so much shade and is so close to the walking trails and a short walk to the outhouse. We will be coming to Julie’s again and soon! My kids had so much fun. Caught their first fish. Many great memories there
We always enjoy our time at 5D. The open spaces, trails and lake make for a great weekend getaway. Things are always well kept and you never feel like you on top of other campers, we stayed during spring break and the campground was full but it didn’t feel busy. A great place to get away. We’ll be back.
Our group of 12 camped at site 13. It was nicely tucked away between trees. The outhouse toilet was close enough to walk to, although if you wanted to shower, that was a good distance away and there is only one shower stall with cold water only. However, that did not take away from the great experience we had. Our group opted to go paddling in the boats provided by the pond. That was so much fun. I would definitely come back again.
We had a great time, even better than expected and will be back ASAP. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. Thank you Julie and Eddie for the hospitality!
Heather, Ashley, and dog of the weekend Whiskey!
