Working cattle and horse ranch situated on 240 rolling acres in central Virginia cut by the Rock Run creek. We have several RV sites with full hookup available (water, sewer and 30 or 50amp avail).Nestled in the scenic rolling hills of central Virginia, Rocky Run Farm will not disappoint. This full service camper hookup is situated within walking distance of a beautiful flowing creek (Rocky Run). The creek bed is a mix between sand and smaller river stones. Across the creek, you can explore the 200+ acre cattle and horse farm belonging to the Altman family for several generations. The area is graced with an abundance of wildlife, including deer, wild turkeys, fox and the occasional black bear. You will be provided with 30 or 50 amp electric service, sewer and water. Long term rental pricing also available so please inquire.

We spent a week at Rocky Run Farm and loved it. Jamey was so helpful and responsive when needed but also gave us space to relax and enjoy the property. We loved watching the horses run in the field, pet the barn cats, watch stars at night, and spot Cecil the pig wandering around. This location made it easy for us to visit Shenandoah National Park, explore some Civil War battlefields and museums and spend a day in. Washington DC. We will definitely be back!

Perfect country camping experience!

This was, without exaggeration, one of our favorite camping experiences ever. The location is right next to a barn full of amazing animals, the site has full hookups, and the skies are filled with stars. Stop by Unionville Brewing Co. for tasty beers, food, and ice cream and you have an absolutely perfect, private, quiet weekend away from it all. We want to go back already. The one very small issue was we needed three sewer hoses to reach the connection but may not be true with smaller rigs. Grab an extra hose if you’re worried and book it immediately.
