Welcome to Big Valley Campsite, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of our family-owned sheep farm, just ten minutes southeast of Margaret River. Set within a beautiful, secluded valley shielded by lush natural forest, our campsite offers a peaceful retreat while remaining central to all the attractions of the Margaret River region. Things to See and Do: Guests are invited to immerse themselves in the authentic farm experience! Join us for the daily sheep feeding at 4 pm (weather permitting), where you can get up close to our friendly flock as they graze the hills. Our free-roaming chickens and guinea pigs add to the charm of farm life, offering plenty of delightful sights for animal lovers. For a more hands-on experience, visit our dedicated guinea pig petting enclosure, open daily from 9–11 am and 3–5 pm. Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult to ensure everyone’s safety. Pet-Friendly Camping: We know pets are part of the family, so we welcome your furry friends! Please let us know at the time of booking if you’ll be bringing them along, and we’ll provide any specific guidelines to make their stay as enjoyable as yours. Campfire and Safety Information: Please note that, in line with regional fire safety, campfires are prohibited from December to April. We ask all guests to adhere to any fire restrictions in place for a safe and pleasant stay. At Big Valley Campsite, you’ll enjoy a unique farm setting with a warm family atmosphere—perfect for unwinding and exploring the wonders of the Margaret River region!

Our stay at big valley was amazing, far exceeded my expectations! From the kindness of Lisa who checked us in to the cleanliness of all the amenities. We loved that there were so many families and dogs around, it made it an extremely fun stay. We loved that we were able to get up and close with the sheep, emus and Guinea pigs and it was really lovely to see the chickens really living life as free range 😊 10/10 would stay here again!

Family friendly camping 🏕
Excellent location to explore the area. Good advice recieved on where to visit in the margaret river area. Campsite is rustic and has a warm welcoming feel about it . Animal feeding time was loved by the children and by us adults too. Would highly recommend staying here if you are exploring Margaret river .

As always we loved camping at big valley. Site 40 was good although alot of people drive past quite quickly, might need too add some speed humps and unfortunately you can smell the dump point at times but overall a great place.
