6 camp sites and 2 Yurts located in beautiful and tranquil Southwest Michigan. 2Chicks And A Farm is a small working farm on 20 acres. 15 minutes from South Haven and the lake. 30 minutes from the city of Kalamazoo. And just under an hour from Grand Rapids.
About half of the 20 acres is wooded. Quarter houses our goats, poultry, pigs, and dogs and produce. Then the rest is open. We’re offering camping on what I call ‘The Pasture’. It’s the grassy space between the house and animals and the woods.
You are welcome to collect eggs for breakfast and fresh produce from our gardens (additional fee). Use the BBQ or smoker. And even join in on farm chores if you are so inclined.
Must respect local mandated quiet hours (10-7 Sun through Thur, and 11-7 Fri and Sat).

Only 30 minutes east of Grand Rapids, this property was established as a Youth Camp for 15 years is now a private event venue and campground, so it has nice amenities like FULL restrooms, a picnic shelter, and even a few small cabins that can be rented.
Swimming beach is available in Lowell a few miles away.
Fishing rivers and lakes are also in the area. (live bait in Saranac)
Woods site and Open Area have a few different locations you can choose from.

We are a small bio-dynamic farm situated on 10 acres in West Michigan. the land has small diverse eco-systems. Open meadows with large White pine to dense woods to the back of the property.
We have a small diverse fiber herd of Jacob sheep and Nigora Goats along with some heritage Breed chickens including 1 Rooster who watches over the flock. A small group of Cayuga duck work their pest control magic as the snoodle around the entire property. These ducks go everywhere! There are also 2 barn cats, that might visit your camp site if you are traveling without dogs.

On the farm we grow a variety of veggies, flowers and Medicinals. We have plots of native woodland medicinals and a variety of other Perennials and Medicinals including Hemp and Cannabis on a very small scale. Everything is grown organically.
We are also close to the Red Flannel Gun club, sometimes we hear guns.
We are also very close to the Cedar Chase Golf Course if you like golf.

Welcome to Sweet 16 Campgrounds. We currently have 3 sites. Site #1 is the RV/Tent site (1 RV/camper max. with unlimited tents, 8 people max.). You will be camping in the semi-wooded area at the back of the property. It is a really nice area to camp. Each site has a firepit and picnic table. We have about 2 miles of hiking trails on the property. We are in a great location to hike, paddle, bike, and explore SW Michigan. Nighttime is great for stargazing. We are 13 miles from downtown St. Joseph and 13 miles from downtown South Haven. We are located 1 1/2 hours from Chicago. Don't feel like exploring, then hang out at the campsite for the day. We are close to the SW Michigan Makers’ Trail (Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries). We are located 4 miles from a small beach (Hagar Park/Beach) on Lake Michigan (15 miles from the big beaches at St. Joseph and South Haven). We are 5 miles from the boat ramp on Paw Paw Lake. We are located just 2 miles off I-196 at Exit 7 (Hagar Shore Road). We are also only 20 miles from Sister Lakes. Dogs are allowed. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
About us: We have a 69 acre farm we bought back in 2019. We moved here from the Chicago area. (Tinley Park). We have 44 acres tillable and 16+ wooded acres. in back that we opened it up for camping. We have horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and rabbits.

One Grand Place - Riverside Retreat

Welcome to our little slice of heaven along the Grand River in Grand Haven, Michigan. Voted one of the best places to visit in 2022 and 2023. This property is at the end of a private road and has three adjoining waterfront parcels that have been in the family for decades that we fondly refer to as One Grand Place. Family still lives on one of the parcels but we are excited to be sharing the other 2 parcels with all of you.
One parcel is our Premium RV site on a cement pad, parallel to the river and can accommodate 1 RV (5th wheel, travel trailer, pop up, Class C etc. NO Class A's allowed). 30/50/standard 110 Electric and water hookup. Pump out is available for a fee.
The other adjacent parcel at the very far west end of the property is a large grassy area with 2 sites. Both have 30 and standard 110 electric, plus water.
--1 Standard RV site can accommodate 1 RV (5th wheel, travel trailer, pop up, Class C etc. NO Class A's allowed). Or, can be used as a tent site IF the tent only site is already booked. Pump out is available for a fee.
--1 Tent only site. To be booked first before the Standard RV site. However, both sites are next to each other with same view.
There is plenty of room to set up games, fish, play with the kids or the dogs, etc. What's not to like? It is your very own exclusive home away from home.
If you don't have an RV or a tent and want to still come and visit, no problem. Rent one of our RVs or rent our tent.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not a commercial campground or a business. However, there are certain rules that must be adhered to per the agreement with our local township and our neighbors along our shared private road.
Property is adjacent to Connor Bayou County Park and is surrounded by natural wetlands. Perfect place to unwind, chill, enjoy the fresh air and picture perfect sunsets. Boating, swimming, jet skis, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing are just a few of the things to enjoy on the water.
Bring your own boat, jet ski, kayak or rent from nearby establishments. One of many public boat launches is just a couple minute ride and Connor Bayou County Park has a kayak specific boat launch. You can also drop a kayak in at the very west end of our property right from shore.
If you are bringing your own boat, jet ski, kayak and have a separate trailer, parking of that trailer must be pre-authorized due to limited space. Please inquire.
Hiking, biking and wildlife, bird/eagle watching are also in the area. Spring Lake, Lake Michigan, beaches, various state/county parks, downtown Grand Haven's shops and restaurants are just a short drive away.
Holland is about 30 minutes south and also has a cute downtown, craft beers, and beaches. PJ Hoffmaster State Park is 20 minutes North. If you are a thrill seeker Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Waterpark is only 30 minutes North in Muskegon. There are also many wineries, ciders and craft beer in Southwest Michigan. And many blueberry farms around too. Bottom line....there is plenty of things to do and see during your visit. You can be as active or as chill as you want to be.

Hostel SoHa is two 5,000 square foot buildings on 7 acres of private land in the process of being renovated into the first youth hostel in west Michigan. This summer we are welcoming backpackers, tent campers, hikers, bike-packers, van and bus lifers, RVers, or just your average young adult in search of a fun community to the property for overnight parking, camping, and fun events.
We are located directly off M-43 and only a 5 minute drive to the beach; downtown South Haven; and Walmart, Aldi, and Meijer. We are also a 5 minute drive from the Kal-Haven trailhead and can help hikers and bike-packers arrange a pick up or drop off from there.
This fun and central location is best suited for adults ages 18-35, but we welcome anyone looking for this social experience. There will be events weekly that are not suitable for families with children or individuals who are looking for a quiet getaway.
There are indoor bathrooms (showers not open yet) and an indoor common area with a phone charging station, lockers for valuables (BYO lock), and a fridge. There is a lit outdoor picnic and bonfire social space with yard games and weekly events. There is also one-of-a-kind gift store on site with a front desk you can ask questions at.

This is a well-known state park that delivers on its popularity. One reason to love this park is because it’s very large, so there’s lots of room to find your own space to spread out. This is also a family-friendly park that’s great for kids, with tons of places to rent and camp nearby. Park outside of the park and walk in for free, or buy an annual park pass.
Saugatuck Dunes State Park
At Saugatuck Dunes State Park, you can enjoy 2.5 miles of shoreline complete with coastal dunes. There are four trails you can take to reach Lake Michigan, which offer the chance to explore tall dunes and rare ecosystems. Visitors here also love birdwatching, hiking, swimming, and enjoying nature.
Tunnel Park
Another great way to enjoy the coast of Lake Michigan is to visit Tunnel Park. Here, you can take a tunnel through a large dune to the shore. Additionally, there’s a dune playground that includes picnic amenities, restrooms, and grills.

Lake Michigan will certainly have ice on it during winter, so the best times to visit are in the summer from June through September.
