Loved to stay at this beautiful farm. Great location, view, communication. Brad is coming down the camping area to make sure all campers are all good. We enjoyed kayak, campfire and quiet relax time. That was prefect first family camping. Highly recommended and we are sure to come back again soon!

Such a peaceful area to camp, we loved our stay at Coleys place. It’s a good idea to bring some levellers if you have a rooftop tent as the land is on a bit of an angle but nothing major, there are a few flat camp spots but they were already taken by other campers so just incase you get there late like we did. The view looking out over the damn is so lovely and watching the dogs swim and have a great time. There’s plenty of free firewood to go and find as well which is a bonus. We will definitely be back 👌🏼

Thank you for having us Bradley! We absolutely loved our relaxing experience over the easter break! From the beautiful pink sunrises to the amber sunsets, the views were endless surrounding Mt Walker. Despite it being a busier weekend, Bradley ensured everyone was comfortable and had everything they needed and guided visitors to secluded spaces on the property which allowed for all groups to enjoy their stay. We had a blast taking our pups for a swim in the dam and going kayaking which were provided and spent much needed time relaxing by the fire. We will definitely be booking again.

Could not recommend this camp enough! We decided to treat ourselves to a bit of a glamping experience for Easter and this spot was an absolute gem. The dam was perfect for our two water obsessed border collies & we loved paddling around it on our paddle boards. The set up was fantastic very quiet & private, you really don’t need to pack anything but food! Facilities were very clean & practical. The view by the fire pit was perfect to sit & watch the sun go down & there’s lots to do & see in & around crows nest. Highly, Highly recommend!!

We tent camp for 2 nights, there is a lot of space between tent, Penelope is super friendly and accomodating, we were provided wood($20 lasted 2 nights) and fire pit, the area and landscape are amazing, there is also a pool and a gym($10) We also had two cats and there were no problems with other pets like dogs because of the large area. There are horses around in their fence but you can kindly pat them. Overall we had an amazing experience and we are very keen to go back!!! Thanks again to Penelope

Katrina was a brilliant host, she was very accommodating and friendly. Her property was the perfect place to stay and explore the area, amenities were spotless and the overall camping area is very well maintained . Our son loved the animals, we loved the peace and quiet. We had breakfast at The Wheatsheaf Store (8 minutes away) and it was the best breakfast experience we’ve had in a while. 2 nights was not enough so we’ll definitely be coming back again soon ☺️

We spent four days here and throughly enjoyed every minute! The views were spectacular and the sunsets were amazing, it was definitely worth the trip to get here. The site was very well presented and plenty of room for our 15ft caravan, it was lovely to meet Chip the Shetland pony, Ollie the dog and of course the hosts Leacia and Phill who were very obliging, friendly and welcoming ! A lovely part of the world THANK YOU for a wonderful stay 10/10 😊

We really enjoyed our stay with the kids, it was a great place for our group, we all enjoyed exploring and had a lovely time adventuring with all the space that was available for us. The toilets and showers were always clean and well maintained, it was great to get to go watch the animals being fed and pat them too. Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. This area offers multiple composting toilets and wood powered hot water bush shower and outdoor bath. There is also a large permanent deep waterhole a short distance from this camping area. We have temporarily paused out Hill camp sites, due to continuing property maintenance and improvements. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice for sale. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Things to do and see: The Grandchester hotel is a short 10min walk away and offers cold drinks, great meals and friendly country hospitality. Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. Back Paddock Botanical - Lavender and Herb farm was established in 2023 and although not fully grown yet the plants add a peaceful ambience to the already beautiful countryside around Goombungee. Flowering time for our Lavender Plants is usually November to January, however this can change depending on the weather we get during the season. All campsites are well spaced and private, with non-potable (Bore) water available for washing up after dinner! Wake up to the sound of Kookaburras and cockatoos and enjoy your morning cuppa while watching the grazing Wallabies/Kangaroos and keep and eye out for Echidnas and Koalas. We love dogs and well behaved canine family members are always welcome at our campsites, however please respect the biosecurity of the lavender by not allowing them into the fields and please make sure they do not roam to other campsites. All campers must provide their own toilet, so self contained camp set ups are needed on the farm - what you pack in, you pack out - please respect our farm and the surrounding nature and leave no trace. We can also cater to larger groups as each individual site has plenty of room, please contact us to discuss if we can accommodate you. If there is some fishermen/women in your group Campfire Farms is only 17min from Cooby Dam and 45min from Cressbrook Dam. Also if you are making a booking for more than five people, you'll need to do two bookings, so that we don't end up overcrowded. Thank you. Self sufficient campers are preferred. If you are looking to get away, put your feet up, switch off and recharge, then this is your perfect spot to enjoy the serenity of farm life with the added mountain views. We have potable bore water, electricity connection, picnic table and bench and firepit. We have two powered caravan sites that can also double up as tent sites. Ideally you should be self sufficient. Our bore has a solar pump that is rigged up to the water tank at the camp kitchen. Please turn the tap off once you have finished filling up your containers or caravan tanks. Bore water is potable, so can be used for cooking, cleaning, pets, etc. Any cooking implements and tools that you might need during your stay can be provided at request. Dogs are welcome, just please be mindful of our free ranging chickens, which are generally located at the top of the farm, near the big new shed. We also have baby goats that you are welcome to help us feed. Please ensure that you are mindful of our neighbours, no loud noises between 9pm and 7am and kindly clean up after yourselves and take your rubbish with you, as we don't have garbage collection at the property. Nanango has a lovely vibe. It's Queensland's oldest and friendliest town. There are great playgrounds, swimming pool and cart racing in town, which is only about 10 minutes away from the farm. Kingaroy is about half an hour away. There is a great off roading spot in the forest that is literally up the road from us. According to previous campers it's perfect for beginners.
