Clean, flat, private and peaceful. This was the perfect spot for us to base ourselves for a couple of days while exploring Bendigo and surrounds. Emma was a great host and looked after us with firewood etc. The dogs had a lovely time being free to roam.

Great spot to camp and enjoy total serenity and, some amazing sunsets.
Sheryl is an amazing host, very friendly without being intrusive.
Ideal for big and small rigs, plenty of space and different camp spots to choose.
Also, ideal for group travellers.
Best to be self sufficient with water, toilet & shower. Some porta loo’s available.
Not far out of Bendigo or Lake Epalock.

Emma’s spot was perfect for us.
Really private and heaps of room.
It had been pretty dry leading up to it but wasn’t dusty at all.
Great for kids and close to shops.
And had firewood available l for purchase.
We’ll be back.

Sheryl, Bec and Tom (and Champ their Jack Russell pup!) are fantastic hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. We had seperate groups arriving at different days/times and they were met at the gate and shown the way to our camp each time with a welcoming friendly chat. The land is massive and plenty of space between the various camp sites, and we had no issues with noise from other camps. Great place to camp and watch the Kangaroos graze when the sun goes down. Can recommend and would stay again!

This campsite is absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery and a group of adorable kangaroos roaming around in the evening. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming—they even greet you personally at the gate, which made us feel truly touched. They are always ready to help with any issues, and we’re especially grateful to Tom and Bec for coming over to jump-start our car when the battery died. Plus, waking up to a lovely coffee van in the morning really made my day! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great camping experience.

This is the second time I have camped at this property at different sites. Tim is a super helpful host and I love being able to camp close to the river.

This place is huge, and communication was key! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing camping experience. The property also has toilets conveniently located around the area, which is great for those without a campervan with amenities. Overall, a fantastic spot!

We had a great stay! Beautiful spot, with lots of kangaroos, galas, nice shade under the trees, a short walk to the portaloo, and the coffee van was a bonus. Sheryl, Bec and Tom are great hosts - we really appreciated a visit to give us a heads up about a storm that was about to hit, gave us time to prepare. Highly recommend Sommerville Park!

We loved ‘Bush seclusion’, it was far from the main road and a toilet was within walking distance. We had a group of 4 families with a mixture of caravan and tents. Great spot for kids to run around and enjoy the bush. Bec was a lovely host, thanks for a great stay.

Great campsite. Really large so even though all the spots were full we were no where near other groups. Coffee van was a great addition too! Will definitely stay here again but would probably chose a different spot as Fosterville Road Dam was a little noisy with traffic in the mornings. Overall we all had a great time!
