Great private site. Some garbage around but not horrible.

Two problems and the Cops.
Group trip
The camp site itself was very narrow and while it was raining all the rain pooled in the main area of the camp site. Other than these two issues great place to camp at. With it being so narrow parking was an issue but we managed to get everything situated and had a great time. However, the police was called on my group because some local hunter didn’t know this area was a camp site. So I would inform the neighbors for future reference.

Great stay
Group trip
The area was great for what we were looking for. It is private, although closer to the roadway than expected. It’s also very close to a swampy creek. Remnants of previous campers were present. Depending on the time of year you go, make sure you have bug spray. Mosquitoes, Gnats, and flies. There were plenty of beautiful wildflowers and mushrooms. A very healthy forest.
