Hegarty Creek

8 sites · RVs, Tents40 acres · Southampton, WA
Kick back on one of a few sites within the 40 acre property situated in the Southampton Blackwood River Valley. Choose from an elevated site amongst the forest, a secluded site, or a site overlooking the river. There are no Neighbours on this side of the Blackwood River. The property is surrounded by on all boundaries by endless miles of forestry roads and Wilderness tracks that you can explore. At night, sit and enjoy the stars around a campfire (subject to local fire bans in the warmer months). The Bibbulmun track runs along the property's Eastern boundary so you can Paddle your canoe across to it (ask Tony to borrow one if you don't have one) and take a hike along the track in either direction. Why not stop at one of the nearby Bibbulmun Huts for a picnic (Climb the infamous Cadiac Hill directly opposite the property) or even walk into Balingup stopping to enjoy the Golden Tree Valley park on the way. Bring your canoe to go for a paddle and bathers if you want to go for a swim in the river during the warmer months. The Southampton Homestead is our nearest neighbour accross the river who run an organic Pasture raised chicken farm. Their Chicken is second to none and you can enquire about their door sales if you want to purchase some top quality chicken cuts for your meals. Linga Longa mountain Bike park is 5 kms up river. Killarney Glen Camping

4 sites · RVs, Tents3 acres · Dardanup, WA
Our 2.5 acre property in Dardanup West is a beautiful green space of mostly level grass with some lovely large shade trees. We are surrounded by other small holdings with farm animals including chickens (and roosters), sheep, horses and cows. We also have lots of wildlife including Kangaroo's, Ducks, Ibis, Black Cockatoos and many other birds frequenting or passing through. We back onto Gavins Gully which is an idyllic creek running through ex-farm land. The creek is a great place to spend time with your children making boats from sticks and leaves and watching them sail away. Or maybe enjoy a picnic by the creek and just relax in the tranquility. There's plenty of happy memories to be made! We get lovely sunsets and if you are up early enough, beautiful sunrises. The evenings are always stunning with dappled light coming through the trees! It is magical and our favourite time of the day when everything is cooling down in summer. Enjoy taking an evening walk by the creek and along the bridal trail or just sitting back and enjoying the sounds of nature with some nibbles and drinks. Make sure to look up at night and soak it all in. Listening to the wind rustling in the trees is one of our favourite sounds and the kookaburras calling in the morning and evenings. We also love to watch and listen to all the different bird callings - you may hear a Boobook owl calling to a mate! We are centrally located to loads of attractions! Check out some of them below: • Bunbury and it's coffee strip, bars and beaches only 15 minutes away • Ferguson Valley with all it's Wineries and Breweries only 10 minutes away • Wellington National Park with it's stunning bush, mountain biking, off-roading, swimming and hiking plus the worlds largest dam mural with walkway across the top only 20 minutes away • Wellington Mills, Gnomesville and Wellington Discovery Forest only 20 minutes away • Crooked Brook Conservation Forest picnicking and hiking only 10 minutes away • "The Paddock" sunflower farm in Crooked Brook only 5 minutes away (January only) • Dardanup Bakery and Tavern only 2 minutes away (if you're looking for a great pie or parmi) • Donnybrook and it's Apple Fun Park only 15 minutes away • Boyanup with it's Rail Heritage museum and regular farmers market only 10 minutes away. • Eaton Fair with it's huge range of shopping opportunities only 15 minutes away • Busselton only 40 minutes away (Dunsborough approx. 1 hour) We have a composting toilet available as well. If you do have your own though, there is a dumpsite located in Dardanup (5 minutes away) at the information bay by the railway line and little church. We provide running bore water by tap and an outdoor kitchen sink by our back fence where you will be camping (cold water only). The water is safe to drink and wash dishes in. There’s a rustic outdoor shower with 2 options. A "rain storm" cold shower (great in summer when the water isn't cold) or a nice gentle hot shower. :) PLEASE KEEP SHOWERS TO 10 MINUTES. Checkout our extras for power and firewood! Please note we live here too so you will see us around and our house can be seen from your campsite. Our kids are free spirited and love coming to say hello! Being ex-farm land, it's generally an open environment, but we don't have neighbours too close by (100m+). We ask that campers don't make lots of noise after sunset and please avoid shining torches towards our home or our neighbours. NOTE: The camp area is in full view of our home, but we try to respect your privacy. Please recommend us to your family and friends and leave us a review at the end of your stay, so we can keep reaching for our goals to make this place even better! We are open to suggestions on how to make your time here even more memorable. We're also open to having travelling families who need to park up for longer periods by negotiation. Reach and out and we'll see what we can arrange :)

Margaret River - Rosa Glen Farm

7 sites · RVs40 acres · Rosa Glen, WA
Hello, welcome to Rosa Glen Farm in Margaret River. Our farm is set on 80 acres divided by vineyard, open fields and native bushland. We are perfectly positioned to see our beautiful region and our wines.😁 Just over two years ago we stumbled upon this gorgeous property and turned it into a boutique, biodynamic winery and farm. Our vines however were already established and some of the first planted in the area in 1978. Since buying the farm we have introduced olives, a small citrus orchard and numerous fruit trees. The farm is a working farm and well.. a massive work in progress. Our passion is the land, the environment, making good wine, listening to music, eating good food and sharing all of this with our community. We are opening up our farm to share with like minded souls who share the same passions as us (our community). Over the years we have started to learn about the secret spots on our property. The ones which are secluded, capture beautiful pieces of light at certain times of the day, where the black cockatoos love to rest on the branches of the gum trees, the areas where weeping peppermints create a haven and the frequencies and syncronities of the frogs elevate at certain times of the year and times of the day are so loud that you cant hear yourself think. As a result we have a number of beautiful secluded spots on our property we would love to share. As we are small and have no facilities and we can only accept a small number who are fully self contained. (Please see NOTES below) Our region 'Margaret River' is famous for WINE but there are so many other things that make this place special. A wild but beautiful coastline uninhibited by people, karri forest, caves, mountain bike trails and a 120km coastal walk. We are also known for surfing and close by are a number of world famous breaks including Surfers Point which is located 20 minutes from the farm. Closer to the farm you can enjoy a short walk to a beautiful winery called SI Vintners, drive to The Berry Farm or the quirky town of Witchcliffe. At Witchcliffe you will find Darnell's General Store which has a beautiful giftshop (The Shed), cellar door (Amato Vino), coffee shop (Witchy Brews) and fantastic pub (Dear Darnells) and vintage stores which it has become reknown for. NOTES: We only accept self-contained caravans/motorhomes/vans/rooftop tents, so PLEASE DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR OWN CHEMICAL TOILET. NO EXCEPTIONS, YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY. WE DO NOT ACCEPT GROUND TENTS OR SWAGS. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE IN A SELF CONTAINED VEHICLE IE CARAVAN, MOTORHOME, CAMPER-TRAILER, ROOF-TOP TENT ECT.

We have four sites available for self-contained campers, and one site that offers bathroom facilities. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. This site has no facilities. We are only approved for self-contained campers/vans. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Shed Pad with bathroom Shed Pad is a powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed with bathroom facilities, including a flushing toilet.
